Generational impacts in Kenya

In August 2021, we shared the story of Brother Simon Mutinda's work with several young Kenyans. Agape has continued its partnership with Brother Simon to minister to these young men through the sponsorship of trade school education, the purchase of life-saving medical devices, and support for local families. Below (left) is a photo of a family of a young man whose father is injured and unable to work while in recovery. With Agape's support, Brother Simon helped the family start a small farm growing tomatoes to support themselves. Pictured above is Mutuku, a young boy who lost his father. With Brother Simon's help, Agape was able to sponsor his training in welding last year. We pray that this trade will serve him well as he moves forward in life. Last, but certainly not least, pictured on the bottom right is a small Christmas gathering of some of the young men Brother Simon has been serving.
In an email to Agape, Brother Simon shared his perspective, "I must say that through your help we have changed the lives of a number of families; as a matter of fact, we have returned some to a life of gratitude to God for His healing, blessings and providence." Agape is glad to join hands with Brother Simon in his life-altering ministry.
